Social and Cultural Activities at Hablamos
Hablamos organises cultural and social activities every week for our students in our intensive courses of 20 hours per week. These activities are very enjoyable and fun, and also very interesting: our students learn Spanish culture by visiting museums, places of interest, parts of Spanish culture that are essential for getting to know Spain. At the same time, our students continue learning vocabulary related to these activities and put it into practice.

Activity for Hablamos students

Horchata and Fartons
In this activity, we’re going to discover one of Valencia’s most typical products: horchata. Horchata is a sweet, refreshing drink made from tiger nuts, which is usually enjoyed in summer.
We’ll also be trying fartons, which are long, fluffy pastries that are usually dipped in horchata. It’ll be a great opportunity to discover a Spanish culinary tradition, learn some food-related vocabulary and enjoy some quality time with your classmates.
